This qualification is a two-year full-time course. You should choose A-level History if you have a passion for investigating the past, reading, discussion and analysing current affairs.
You will study a range of units throughout the AQA A-Level course, which will include:
• Tsarist and Communist Russia, 1855– 1964; • Wars of the Roses c. 1450-1499; • Historical Investigation— A personal study of 4,000 words based on a topic of student's choice. This should take the form of a question in the context of approximately 100 years.
